Nectar Eater Receipt Sync — Privacy Policy

Scope. This policy describes how Nectar Eater handles information through Nectar Eater Receipt Sync, its private internal receipt-processing automation. It applies to the App; it does not replace Nectar Eater’s website or store privacy policy.

Information processed. The App processes business receipt and invoice documents and information within them, such as supplier names, contact details, invoice numbers, dates, descriptions, amounts, and tax details. It also processes relevant QuickBooks Online transaction details and identifiers, connection authorisations, and operational records of matching results and errors. Documents may contain personal information about suppliers or other business contacts.

Purpose. Information is used to match documents to existing QuickBooks Online transactions, attach supporting documents, investigate errors, and maintain Nectar Eater’s accounting records. Only documents appropriate for this business purpose should be submitted.

Access and disclosure. Access is limited to authorised Nectar Eater personnel and service providers needed to operate the App. The workflow uses Google services for document storage and automation and Intuit QuickBooks Online for accounting access and attachments. These providers may process information outside Australia under their own terms and privacy policies. Nectar Eater does not sell App information or use it for advertising. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Security. Nectar Eater uses access controls and safeguards appropriate to the information processed. Connection credentials and tokens must be kept confidential and must not be included in public pages or receipt-processing logs. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion. Receipt documents and QuickBooks attachments are retained according to Nectar Eater’s business and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Operational records are retained as needed to support and troubleshoot the App. An authorised administrator can disconnect the QuickBooks connection and arrange removal of App-held information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention obligations. Disconnection does not automatically delete source documents, existing QuickBooks attachments, or provider backups.

Requests and concerns. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy concerns, contact Nectar Eater and identify your enquiry as relating to Receipt Sync. Requests will be considered subject to applicable law and recordkeeping obligations.

Changes. Nectar Eater may update this policy by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.
